Based on GeoSI’s
regulations, the following quality policy has been constituted for the
company:
GeoSI will be the
preferred provider of services within its professional range.
Recovery of seabed
samples in the field will be performed with a technical and professional
skill that ensures complete trust in that the collected samples are well
suited for characterization of geochemical, geological and geotechnical
properties.
In practice, the
formulated quality policy means that the missions are carried out and in
a way that measures up to the customer’s requirements.
The mission report
will provide a complete and accurate description of the task and its
results.
The commissioner
can safely trust that the reported field data contain no errors caused
by transmission of information between two parts of the process.
The commissioner
can trust that data, opinions, advice and guidelines provided by GeoSI
are freely expressed without influences from outside parties, and also
anchored in current scientific knowledge and the highest ethical norms
of the business.
The purpose of
GeoSI’s quality system is to prevent errors; reveal deviations at the
earliest possible stage, correct errors as quickly as possible and
perform preventive measures. Hence, this quality system is our governing
force and is consequently integrated into all our routines and
procedures.
This means that
all GeoSI’s activities need to comply with the European standard for
quality assurance of field sample recovery.
Additionally,
current laws and regulations will supervise the company’s Health and
Safety routines, ensuring that every company associate feels safe
professionally as well as personally. |
